The contractor has stripped out the entire building including all insulation from the roof . A new hot water and heating system is to be installed as well as replacement windows (from single glazed sliding sash) to like for like double glazed units throughout. The contractor has also removed plaster from external solid 225th. walls which BC have stated constitutes an amendment to a thermal element now requiring lining (with insulated plasterboard or similar). There is also an extensively glazed PVC extension to the ground floor rear which was formally a conservatory but is now open to the main space.
