Alan is the founder of Syntegra, he is a qualified Engineer with an MSc in Intelligent Buildings and over 18 years technical & project management experience including blue chip companies, SMEs, start-ups and emerging industries. He has specialist experience in property investment & development, low carbon building design, M&E consultancy, energy consultancy, intelligent buildings and green/renewable technologies. He has won a number of industry awards and continues to be supported by the Goldman Sachs 10k scheme since 2013. He is also the Author of: Reduce Your CO2 Emissions and Increase Your Bottom Line, published in 2014.
Director of Energy & Sustainability (Umer Uzair) CEng, MSc, LCEA, NDEA, MCIBSE
Umer is a Chartered Energy Engineer and Full CIBSE Member with over a decade of experience in the building services industry. He is also a part of CIBSE HCNW committee, CIBSE Energy Performance Group and committee member of Association of Energy Engineer. He has been involved in various mixed-used schemes to assists clients with Zero Carbon design, daylighting assessments, Rights of lights, overheating thermal analysis, Carbon footprint reporting, Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme, Low or Zero Carbon Energy strategies and Sustainability assessments for infrastructure projects. Umer is also a low carbon energy assessor with the qualifications for BREEAM, SKA & Level 4 & 5 non-domestic buildings
Director of Ecology Services (Trish Holden) BSc, MSc, MCIEEM
Patricia is a consultant ecologist and full member of IEEM. She has over fifteen years’ of professional experience gained in the commercial and private sectors. She has project managed and undertaken numerous extended Phase 1 habitat surveys and multi-species surveys across the UK including: solar farms for Orta Solar along the m4 corridor and A303, cemetery expansions and new cemetery sites for CDSL, large scale residential developments for various private and commercial clients. She holds particular experience and expertise in surveying for a range of protected species including reptiles, great crested newts, badgers, riparian mammals, and bats. In addition to Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Protected Species Surveys and Habitat Assessments, Trish has also designed management plans for large scale regeneration schemes.
Director of M&E (Tony King) CEng, MSc, BEng (Hons), FEI
Tony is a Chartered Engineer, an accredited energy consultant and a fellow of the energy institute. He has considerable experience as a building services HVAC design consultant and has experience on leading the engineering divisions for large CAPEX schemes, particularly in the Health Sector. With over 40 years’ experience working in Athens, Saudi-Arabia, Hong Kong and in the UK, Tony brings unique understanding in terms of what major CAPEX projects and multi-national clients’ requirements are, having led design teams on projects with construct values < £300m.
