Chairman (David Lawther)
Former CEO of ISG Plc taking it from a London centric £400m contractor to a £1.9 billion Global contractor. Over 20 years’ PLC board experience with exposure to a wide range of business scenarios and economic cycles including: M&A transactions, restructuring, international expansion, business/ cultural transformation, strategic reviews, Capital Markets and Investor Relations.
Founder and CEO(Alan Wing-King)
Alan is a post-graduate qualified engineer with an MSc in Intelligent Building and over 25 years of experience. He has a wealth of experience in property development, Net-Zero consultancy (ESG strategy/Capital projects/low-carbon building design), and low-zero/renewable technology. Alongside his leadership role at Syntegra Group, he is a member of the ‘Leaders’ forum of the UK-GBC, an author, GreenTech investor, and property developer in his own right. With his breadth of experience in different roles across the supply-chain, he is able to connect with clients, with his main focus being to maximize their development value and minimize planning risk across all sectors in the built environment.
Operations Director (Emily Snape Gormley)
Emily is our Operations Director, overseeing and ensuring the smooth running of all operational aspects of the company. Emily has 10 years of administrative and management experience. In a diverse role, she facilitates multiple departments, from Accounts, HR, and Operations as well as our Building Compliance and Ecology divisions. Emily is also our Quality Manager for ISO 9001:2015.
Business Development Director of MEP (David Thomas)
Dave is a Chartered Engineer and Director of our subsidiary company: Building Services Group Ltd (BSG). With a BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering, Dave is a CIBSE member and chartered engineer with over 30 years’ experience. Having led a number of high profile projects in the hotel & commercial sectors he has extensive project experience with several of the InterContinental Hotels across Europe, Harrods, offices for BNP Paribas & Goldman Sachs fulfilling roles as designer and client’s representative. BSG have over 30 years’ trading history and under Dave’s guidance have delivered numerous well known Hotel projects namely the Corinthia Hotel-London, The Taj-London, The Grand-Brighton, Intercontinental-Hyde Park, Jumeirah Carlton Tower-Mayfair and numerous Foreign Commonwealth Offices internationally.
Technical Director of Environmental Services (David Yates)
David is responsible for the Environmental Services team, including Acoustics and Air Quality services covering residential, commercial office, transportation, industrial and leisure sectors. David provides specialist environmental assessments, such as noise, air quality and odour consultancy, as well as complementary services such as Environmental Permitting and sound insulation assessments and testing. David has particular expertise in environmental noise particularly providing acoustic consultancy for contentious planning applications, the design of acoustic, noise and vibration control and he is also experienced in providing sound insulation design advice. He is a corporate Member of the Institute of Acoustics, Chair of the southern branch of the Institute of Acoustics and responsible for maintaining Syntegra’s ANC membership as well as being active on working groups and committees within the ANC to provide noise guidance to practitioners.
Director of MEP Design (Dave Gandhum)
Dave has over 40 years’ experience in delivering MEPH projects across the public and private sectors, for community infrastructure, leisure, health, education, residential and commercial clients in the UK, Middle East & Africa. He is a member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and has worked with some of the UK’s leading consultancies. As the Director of MEP he has total responsibility for design & project management of Mechanical and Electrical Services, delivering projects from initial concept stage to hand-over & post occupation analysis.
Director of Energy and Sustainability (Mark Standen)
Mark Standen – Director of Energy and Sustainability Mark is an Energy and Sustainability Engineer with over 20 years’ experience. A Passivhaus and PHPP modelling specialist with extensive experience in analysing all types of buildings (domestic and commercial). He is an experienced Sustainability Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the Construction industry. Skilled in Sustainable Construction, Passivhaus, and BREEAM. Qualified in BREEAM UK, BREEAM International, HQM and also a BREEAM AP.
