Managing Director (Alan King) MSc, BEng (Hons), MAPM, AMCIBSE, MIET
Alan is the founder of Syntegra, he is a qualified Engineer with an MSc in Intelligent Buildings and over 18 years technical & project management experience including blue chip companies, SMEs, start-ups and emerging industries. He has specialist experience in property investment & development, low carbon building design, M&E consultancy, energy consultancy, intelligent buildings and green/renewable technologies. He has won a number of industry awards and continues to be supported by the Goldman Sachs 10k scheme since 2013. Alan is a member of the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) Leaders Forum and the author of: Reduce Your CO2 Emissions and Increase Your Bottom Line, published in 2014.
Director of Ecology Services (Trish Holden) BSc, MSc, MCIEEM
Patricia is a consultant ecologist and full member of IEEM. She has over fifteen years’ of professional experience gained in the commercial and private sectors. She has project managed and undertaken numerous extended Phase 1 habitat surveys and multi-species surveys across the UK including: solar farms for Orta Solar along the m4 corridor and A303, cemetery expansions and new cemetery sites for CDSL, large scale residential developments for various private and commercial clients. She holds particular experience and expertise in surveying for a range of protected species including reptiles, great crested newts, badgers, riparian mammals, and bats. In addition to Preliminary Ecological Appraisals, Protected Species Surveys and Habitat Assessments, Trish has also designed management plans for large scale regeneration schemes.
Director of Civils & Infrastructure (Arwyn Norris) BEng
Arwyn is an experienced civil engineer and has over thirteen years of experience in the hydrology and civils sector. Having graduated from Coventry University with a BEng in Civil Engineering and Design, Arwyn is skilled in Land Development, Drainage, Highway and Design Management. As a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Arwyn is able to assist in providing all aspects of civil engineering support. He has been involved in a number of diverse projects over a variety of mixed-use schemes.
Director of M&E (David Thomas) CEng, BEng (Hons
Dave is a Chartered Engineer and Director of our subsidiary company: Building Services Group Ltd (BSG). With a BEng (Hons) in Environmental Engineering, Dave is a CIBSE member and chartered engineer with over 30 years’ experience. Having led a number of high profile projects in the hotel & commercial sectors he has extensive project experience with several of the InterContinental Hotels across Europe, Harrods, offices for BNP Paribas & Goldman Sachs fulfilling roles as designer and client’s representative. BSG have over 30 years’ trading history and under Dave’s guidance have delivered numerous well known Hotel projects namely the Corinthia Hotel-London, The Taj-London, The Grand-Brighton, Intercontinental-Hyde Park, Jumeirah Carlton Tower-Mayfair and numerous Foreign Commonwealth Offices internationally.
Director of Acoustics (David Yates)
David has over ten years’ experience in the acoustics industry covering residential, commercial office, transportation, industrial and leisure sectors. David has particular expertise in environmental noise particularly providing acoustic consultancy for contentious planning applications, the design of acoustic, noise and vibration control within the residential, transportation, commercial and leisure sectors and he is also experienced in providing sound insulation design advice. He is a Member of the Institute of Acoustics.
Director of Air Quality (Mark Chapman)
Mark is a Chartered Environmentalist who provides specialist environmental assessments, such as air quality and odour consultancy, as well as complementary services such as Environmental Permitting. His core areas of technical expertise cover the provision of support for clients within the residential, commercial, retail and industrial sectors to secure planning consent for new development, as well as input to Environmental Permit Applications and other regulatory compliance projects. He also has a broad understanding of the commercial aspects of consultancy, having directed multi-disciplinary teams to exceed budget expectations.
