Paul King, chief executive of UK-GBC said that the sustainability body is encouraging tackling carbon emissions with the profit and the independence that it brings, not having to rely on the government to implement change.
The UK-GBC is also calling on its 330 members to disclose their carbon footprints and calculate full-life carbon for buildings as part of a drive to cut the emissions of the built environment by 50% by 2020.
Industry bodies, including UK-GBC and the CBI have informed that carbon reduction policies, such as the Green Deal lack detail and need to be improved with higher subsidies or regulation if they want to achieve the retrofit to all 22 million homes in the UK.
Syntegra Consulting is a member of the Green Building Council and via its corporate EMS strategy not only helps clients reduce their carbon footprint but adopts a thin-client and flexible working infrastructure with their consultant team.
