According to a recent report from the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC), self-build housing should be encouraged to drive sustainable growth against the issue of scarce resources. The industry needs to help with the customers who are able to modify their homes to higher levels. The government also targets to double self-build’s allocation among the new-build market.
