Syntegra Consulting Ltd have been appointed as energy consultants to produce an energy strategy for the ‘Development of 12No. new-build flats at 1-8 College Yard, London, NW5 1NX– to support the scheme design process, demonstrate Building regulations Part L1A compliance and compliance to the minimum code level 3 standard and 20% reduction of CO2 emissions via renewables planning policy requirement and to demonstrate intent to deliver an energy efficient property in accordance with the client brief requirement. An overall strategy of gas combi boilers and solar PV have been recommended which addresses the necessary planning policy requirements.
