Boilers
Hot water system need to be chose basing on how many people are living in the house and how many wet rooms etc. Combi-boilers circulate hot water by radiators and underfloor heating routes. Combi-boilers avoid the installation of hot water storage cylinders and cold water storage tanks, because the boilers only provide hot water when a hot water tap, shower, or washing machine etc is turned on. Electric boilers provide hot water through electric heating elements as easy as gas boilers. And condensing boilers can reduce cost as they recycle hot exhaust gases produced.
PV panels
The Photovoltaic Cells (PV) panels generate electricity from light. Their average life is approximately 20 years. PV is an easy way to generate renewable electricity but expensive. However, currently it benefits from the Feed in Tariff as the electricity generated can be sold to the grid.
Air Source/ Water Source/ Ground Source Heat Pumps
The heat pumps can extract heat from the source in a refrigerate gas or liquid by compressing it and making it much hotter. Then the heat can be exchanged into the water. The refrigerant will then be decompressed and ready to extract more heat from the source. Thus a heat pump is a sustainable and convenient way for heating no matter for domestic or commercial units.
