The Battersea Park project will involve the demolition of the existing care home and the construction of a new three- story building to provide for a 60 bedroom care home facility (Class C2) with a central courtyard and terrace at the first floor level, roof garden, parking for 13 cars and bicycle storage with access from Charlotte Despard Avenue.
Syntegra Consulting Ltd have been appointed as Energy Consultants and BREEAM Assessors for the aforementioned project and will undertake a BREEAM Multi Residential assessment on the property.
In addition, Syntegra will offer consultancy advice in relation to Building regs U-Values building fabric requirements and renewable/LZC technology options and general M&E strategy options/considerations. Sustainability and Energy Statements will be conducted demonstrating that the applications include the consideration of all renewable energy technology / energy efficient measures. SAP/SBEM assessment compliance checks, will be provided based on proposed scheme U-values and other services based design recommendations/assumptions. A series of SAP/SBEM assessments will need to be run to assist in the evaluation overview justifying building regs compliance.
