Developments in Wales will be able to register against the new 2014 Welsh Part L1A which associates with the changes in the planning system relating to TAN 22 from the 31st July 2014.
An addendum, similar to the English version, will be published as soon as the government in Wales recognises the fact that there will still be an ongoing need for the Code of Sustainable Homes (CSH).
The addendum will be put into action with developments that are registered to Part L1A 2014 Wales and have reason to build to the code. The changes to TAN 22 that have occurred are not affecting the funding requirements for social housing that at this time need a Code Level 3 through the Government in Wales and assessors should be conscious of these changes.
