Syntegra Consulting Ltd has been appointed as energy consultants to produce an energy strategy report for the Beaufoy Institute Project, 39 Black Prince Road, London, SE11 6JJ to demonstrate Building Regulations L2B compliance for the main Beaufoy Institute and Annex buildings. Demonstrate compliance to Building Regulations L1A and intent to design to a Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) Level 3 and to a minimum 10% reduction of CO2 emissions reduction via renewable energy technology for the new three storey residential extension in accordance with planning policy requirements. In line with the London Borough of Lambeth, the proposed conversion must achieve a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.

The existing building built in 1907 have been used by several educational establishment and the project is to provide a community centre comprising ancillary residential facilities (24 private bedrooms, 1 dormitory) alongside 2 self contained flats.
