ACI legislation stipulates the following:
- New AC installations installed from 1st January 2008 must be inspected within 5 years
- All other air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output > 250kW must be inspected by January 2009
- Air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output > 12 kW must be inspected by January 2011
All ACI inspections should be carried out by an accredited Air Conditioning Energy Assessor.
