Acoustic Plant & Noise Impact Assessment

The Syntegra Group’s Acoustics team are here to help prepare technical acoustic reports in support of your residential or commercial planning applications. Our consultants are members of the Institute of Acoustics and Syntegra is a member of the ANC (the trade association for acoustics, noise, and vibration consultancy practices).

Our projects range from single dwellings to large multi-use developments affected by excessive noise and vibration levels from a number of different sources; such as road and rail traffic, aircraft noise, industrial noise and construction noise.

We provide assessments of environmental noise in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and associated documents,  including the Noise Policy Statement for England (NPSE) and the Planning Practice Guidance for Noise.

In addition to these requirements, our consultants provide assessments which fulfill the criteria of the World Health Organisation Guidelines, British Standard 8233, British Standard 7445-1, 7445-2, British Standard 6472, British Standard 5228 and British Standard 4142.

Our acoustic testing team can also provide measurement, assessment, and noise mitigation advice for ground-borne vibration and re-radiated noise which you could encounter during your project.
