A BREEAM ecological assessment is an assessment that is undertaken by a suitably qualified ecologist (SQE) to achieve credits with relation to ecology or landscape ecology Eco or LE credits respectively as their known. The assessment is often used by new developments as a benchmark standard to achieve sustainable development status. Before your development begins, an initial evaluation of the ecological value of your site is undertaken to establish the Ecological Baseline Condition as required by the BREEAM assessments.
