The Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH) was a national standard in England designed to assess and certify the environmental performance of new residential buildings. It provided a comprehensive framework to measure a home's sustainability across nine categories, including energy, water, and materials, encouraging higher standards in sustainable design and construction. CSH assessment services involved evaluating a property's design and construction against these criteria to achieve a sustainability rating. Although the Code was withdrawn in 2015, its principles continue to influence sustainable building practices in the UK.
