The Energy Efficiency Investments have benefits both in terms of cost and energy consumption reductions. The Energy Department have more than 120 manufacturers that have made smart investments to save on energy costs as well as cut greenhouse gas emissions improving their bottom lines.
The Bernard Matthews’ turkey farms represent an example of investment in order to finance the installation of energy boilers. The deal included more than 12 months of planning and Rural Energy’s cutting-edge renewable technology which will now be installed in more than 21 of the turkey group’s farm sites across the east of England. The project was designed and managed by renewable energy company Lumicity, the boilers will be supplied and installed into customised packaged plant rooms which are prefabricated off-site and then delivered to site as required. The biomass solutions have been recognised as effective means to cut energy bills and provide a significant reduction in gas emissions.
