Conquest House is a 1950s office block (30,000 sq. feet) located at the busy junction of John Street and Theobald Road, in the Bloomsbury Conversation area.
Syntegra Consulting were appointed to undertake the full BREEAM assessment.
The building fabric was upgraded, as well as a new HVAC system supplying an energy-efficient chilled beam cooling system was incorporated within the development.
Some further sustainability features of the upgraded building included solar hot water, low flush toilets & rainwater storage system.
The development won the BCO London and South East Award 2012 for Best Refurbished / Recycled Workplace and was nominated for the 3R Awards (Refurb, Rethink, Retrofit) – 2011.
