Jack Wills, Hereford is a mid-sized premium retail unit located in the recently redeveloped Old Market Shopping Centre in central Hereford. The Old Market Shopping Centre is a new £90million development in the heart of Hereford city centre.
The open-air retail and leisure scheme, the site of Hereford’s former livestock market, features 18 shops, eight restaurants, a cafe, five kiosks, a six-screen Odeon cinema, 600 car park spaces and a number of new public squares and green spaces.
Our M&E consulting team provided our client with an extensive range of mechanical and electrical design and consultancy for the project, Our consulting engineers worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure that all best practices for sustainability and energy efficiency were followed, and provided some unique and innovative solutions to the issues faced by the project.
Through our work, Jack Wills achieved a BREEAM rating of “excellent” against the BRE’s specifications for retail outlined in BREEAM 2008, and against the landlord’s Green Lease Agreement.
