NEO Bankside is a prestigious world-class residential development situated beside Tate Modern on the South Bank of the River Tames in London.
The development consists of 217 exclusive apartments and penthouses in four pavilions with spectacular views towards The City and the majestic St Paul’s Cathedral.
There are also restaurants, a business centre, private air-conditioned gym, shops and 24-hour concierge services.
Syntegra consultants were hired at the design stage of the development’s contemporary Italian bistro restaurant/delicatessen Capricci to provide mechanical and electrical design and consultancy.
Our consulting engineers worked closely with the designers and contractors to ensure that all best practices for sustainability and energy efficiency were followed, and provided some unique and innovative solutions to the issues faced in order to meet stringent planning permission criteria.
One of the key features of Capricci is the open kitchen in the middle of the restaurant and a selection of authentic produce on display for customers to buy after their gastronomic experience.
Lighting these effectively with energy efficient systems and natural daylight while maintaining an intimate atmosphere was at the heart of the project.
