Syntegra Consulting has been appointed as energy consultants to produce an energy strategy for the scheme at 8 Earlsfield Road, London, SW18 3DW – to support the scheme design process, to demonstrate Building regulations Part L1B compliance and to demonstrate consideration towards building fabric enhancements and renewable technology.

The existing property under review is a four storey semi-detached house with basement. The proposed development will entail refurbishment and extension of the basement and ground floor of the residential property.

An assessment of the development’s site estimated energy consumption and CO2 emissions was undertaken. In addition, the proposed building fabric, Low Zero Carbon design strategy and analysis calculations were with respect to SAP.

The design stage included:

a) an outline M&E design Consultancy (new extension element only)

b) below ground drainage specification and design
