Syntegra Consulting Ltd have been appointed as daylight modelling consultants to produce a Daylight, Sunlight & Overshadowing Report for the proposed development which involves the demolition of an existing petrol station and the construction of a new four-storey building including nine residential units and one retail unit at 77-81 Clapham Road, London SW9.
It assesses the daylight, sunlight and overshadowing effect of the proposed development on the surrounding buildings, and specifically focuses on the facades of the building at 83 Clapham Road, 75 Clapham Road, 71-73 Clapham Road, 66 S Island Pl and 62-64 S Island Pl. The assessment is undertaken in accordance with BRE 209 Digest: Site Layout Planning For Daylight and Sunlight – A Guide to Good Practice.
